Rachel Hulin

Rachel Hulin came to New York in 2000 and found a job in production at Condé Nast. Although the pointy shoes and glamorous cafeteria were alluring, she decided to apply to graduate school. She received her MA in studio art two years later and spent several years helping to run the full-time programs at the International Center of Photography. She then moved into photo editing, working at Nerve.com, Rolling Stone, and RADAR magazine, among others.
Recently, Rachel has been writing about photography; she started off at Photoshelter’s Shoot! The Blog. She is also a photo columnist for The Daily Beast and The Faster Times.
She recently co-founded the photo aggregation site The Photography Post.
Rachel has been making her own work slowly but surely throughout the years. It has been shown at Jen Bekman Gallery, The Bronx Museum of the Arts, Wallspace Gallery and The New York Photo Festival, where she co-curated a show in May 2009.
