Sarah Esteje - abadidabou, a photography student at the Gobelins, is the author of an amazing series of animal portraits drawn with a simple ballpoint pen. Why animals? “A nostalgia of grandma’s canvas, but also and especially because we humans are a bit all alike. Reproducing feathers, furs or scales is far more interesting!” A work of the materials, bordering on the hyper-realism by adding a softness and the original framing, the series is currently on exhibition at Point Ephémère in Paris.
