Grégoire Guillemin is an artistic director specialised in graphic design and illustration. In his series of illustrations entitled “Paper Heroes”, Grégoire Guillemin revisits the character design of several famous comic books heroes by digitally giving them an effect of cut paper.
Sometimes he uses the pen name Léon. People tend to describe him as an artist, but he prefers to be acknowledged as a creative with no style and no tools of preference. Grégoire likes creating and doing it fast.
He has a knack for taking simple shapes and transforming them into universal symbols of pop culture. His latest series is the anthropomorphism of the icons we call super heroes, through a pop art rendition of what goes down when they are off the clock and no one is looking.
