Aakash Nihalani

While many street artists have a social or political agenda, the most prominent commentary that arises from Aakash Nihalani's work is that New Yorkers should playfully engage and have fun with their city. With vibrantly colored tape and cardboard, he creates new spaces and vantage points and consequently challenges the city's inhabitants to abandon their rote viewership and adopt a new, open, and positive outlook towards the bustling metropolis.
